Turn Coke into a Probiotic Drink

Probiotics come in many forms, some easier to take and more affordable than others, but the good news is that now probiotics come in ice cubes – perhaps the easiest and most affordable way of all for getting probiotics.  And even more remarkably, this new way of delivering probiotic microbes (in ice) is a Singapore innovation. Yes, we’re the first in the world to have probiotic ice. In fact, probiotic ice was developed through a collaboration between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore’s leading ice supplier, Iceman.  

And the benefits of probiotics in ice go beyond price and convenience: freezing preserves probiotic microbes much longer than simple refrigeration, which means the power of the probiotics will not deteriorate nearly as fast as those in, say, kombucha kept in the fridge.
