Big Tube Ice, or Baby Tube Ice – which should I use?
- Baby Tube Ice: Baby Tube Ice is ideal for chilling drinks in glassware – it chills even warm drinks fast.
- Big Tube Ice: Big Tube Ice is the recommended all-purpose ice for chilling drinks at home. It can be used both for chilling drinks in a box or bin as well as inside glassware.

How much tube ice do I need to chill my drinks (external chilling)?
- Chilling glass bottles: One 18 kg tube ice bag for every 2 cartons of drinks.
- Chilling cans: One 18kg tube ice bag for every 4 cartons of drinks.

Note: For both bottles and cans, chilling should be done in foam boxes or insulated bins. Allow approximately 1-2 hours for optimum chilling.

How much tube ice do I need to order if I’m using the ice inside glassware?
- Approximately 1 tube ice bag per 40 persons is recommended. Each bag should fill approximately 70 glasses.

How much tube ice do I need for both chilling drinks externally and putting it in drinks?
- Use half the bag of tube ice to chill drinks in the foam box or insulated bin, and use the other half to put inside glassware. This should be enough to accommodate a gathering of up to 10 persons.

How far in advance should I start chilling drinks in a foam box or insulated bin?
- In order for drinks to reach optimum temperature, start chilling approximately 1-2 hours ahead of serving time.

Is tube ice more expensive than other kinds of ice.
